BUSINESS

Psychologists talk to people to help them better understand themselves. Marriage counsellors improve people's relationship with their spouses. Financial planners let people focus on their money.

Our ability, efforts and thrift grow our wealth. Our needs, indulgences and taxes tend to dissipate it. Financial planners help you find the right balance.

With over thirty years of deep and varied experience in finance, I very much enjoy sharing my knowledge with my clients, learning about their circumstances and objectives to discover a bespoke, suitable solution.

I started working at seventeen. I have learned a great deal from pivots in my long career, working in different countries and doing complex things on my own – more so than most financial planners. It is a unique advantage in client relationships – life experience is an intrinsic part of financial planning. It feels great to help others.
PERSONAL

Some of my personal interests stem from my professional activity – computing, finance and investments. I diversify by reading historical non-fiction, swimming, dabbling in residential renovations, and baking – proud to say that I am a baker par excellence.

I received my MBA from Stanford (California) and then spent thirty years in finance – working as an equity analyst; advising ultra wealthy individuals and institutions at UBS, Merrill Lynch, and RBS on complex financial strategies and derivatives; consulting in derivatives risk management for top investment banks and ECB; and now as a personal financial planner.

My goal is to learn Mandarin so that I could travel all around China each year and learn people's life stories directly. Mandarin is difficult...

I live with my wife and son in North London.
